Zensys provides one of the key enabling technologies of the intelligent home, the Z-Wave® wireless mesh network ecosystem. Z-Wave transforms virtually any electronic device into an intelligent networked device that can be controlled and monitored wirelessly, and can seamlessly interact with other home devices and systems.
Zensys offers a family of low-cost, low-power integrated MCU/Transceiver chips embedded with Z-Wave, along with a suite of development tools and services that make it easy for companies to create compelling wireless products and solutions for residential and light commercial applications. These include home entertainment, lighting and appliance control, energy management, access control, security, building automation, and home health care, among many others.
Headquartered in Fremont, California, with R&D in Copenhagen and sales in the New York City region, Zensys retains a partnership strategy with key telecom, utility, and industrial leaders, and participates in a number of co-development projects with major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). These relationships have already resulted in a broad range of award-winning home control products, and will continue to extend Z-Wave's position as the standard in wireless control.
